This bandana gets its deep maroon color from Lac, a natural dye derived from resin produced by lac insects. It's one of the oldest natural dyes in the world and gives the cotton a rich, velvety purple-red that you don't get from synthetic dyes.

100% organic cotton, naturally dyed, measures approximately 21"x21". Wear it as a neckerchief, headband, or pocket square. Because each piece is naturally dyed, there may be slight variation in color between batches.
